The Sanecan Olimpia is specially designed for dog excrement, helping to improve the urban environment, keeping streets and pavements clean and simplifying street cleaning work.  The Sanecan system is based on user participation, making members of the public feel like an essential part of the correct operation of the service.

In contrast to the other models, the container and lid of the Sanecan Olimpia are manufactured from rotational-moulded high-density polyethylene and joined by a metal support that provides a rigid and stable attachment to the ground.

The container has a truncated cone basket manufactured from 6mm thick polyethylene. This contains a smaller basket, also made from polyethylene, which is used to collect dog excrement. The outside of the container and the lid have vertical grooves and a “sand-blasted” finish to make it difficult to affix posters and advertisements. A colourless, odourless, water-repellent product is also applied to help prevent graffiti.

All metal parts are rust treated using cataphoresis. The high-density polyethylene (100% recyclable material) used for the manufacture of the Sanecan Olimpia meets the requirements of the ASTM-D 1926–68 fire safety standard and does not produce environmentally-harmful contaminants.
